A curious, dynamic and committed musician, Arthur Escriva has built up a strong personality through his commitments and his various projects.
A soloist with the Frivolités Parisiennes company, the Appassionato ensemble and Les Apaches, he has also been a member of the Verbier and Lucerne festival academies. Between 2019 and 2023, he held the position of trial soloist with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London and has been collaborating with Aurora Orchestra since 2022.
A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris, he made his debuts at the Cap Ferret Music Festival, the Auditorium Saint Pierre des Cuisines in Toulouse, and the KKL in Lucerne with the Lucerne Festival Strings in 2019.
He is one of two trumpeters in the production of King Lear directed by Thomas Ostermeier at the Comédie Française, and an actor-musician in Roi Ubu directed by Pascal Neyron at the Théâtre de l'Athénée in Paris.
In recent years, Arthur has commissioned and premiered several pieces for trumpet, including EKSP by Adrien Trybucki, 3 miniatures for trumpet, flugelhorn and small ensemble by Jean Michel Maury, and a Sequenza for solo flugelhorn by Félix Roth, supported in his various projects by the Nguyen Thien Dao Foundation, the Mécénat Musical Société Générale, the Meyer Foundation, the Verbier Festival and the Yamaha Grant.
In addition to his numerous engagements in France, he will continue his collaborations with the Orchestre du Festival de Prades and Orchester im Treppen.
